Hey there! My name’s Chelsea. I’m 23 and live in Pennsylvania. My hobbies are reading and writing.
I’m in love with the eccentric and bizarre. This means surrealism, horror, and fantasy. Urban legends, scary movies, ancient myths, vampires, werewolves, creepypastas, ghost stories, the list goes on.
Though a lot of the things I take interest in are decidedly tomboyish, I’m a girl who also appreciates even the daintiest parts of being female. This includes a lot of pink, purple, and shopping! So if you post pics of your clothes after shopping trips and spending sprees, you have my attention. I DESPERATELY need more females on my friends list that post makeup tutorials and talk about clothes and girly things like that.

If you’re interested in being friends, feel free to add me at your discretion, but it wouldn’t hurt to say hello first. I promise I don’t bite! :D
I like it when people post reviews about music, movies, games, or TV shows. If you post a lot about the music you listen to, add me. If you like to discuss academic subjects like history, philosophy, science, or spirituality, add me. If you love the ‘80’s and you’re not ashamed to talk about hair bands, cult movies with cheesy acting, David Bowie or leg warmers, you’re a friend o’ mine.
I believe in God, but I welcome people of all faiths or none at all. I welcome faith-based journals or posts about religion as long as it is not negative or demeaning to people of faith or no religious affiliation. I value forgiveness, compassion and respect for people who are different than you.
I just hope you won’t mind my language, because I can be a bonafide sailor if the wind hits my sails just right.
I don’t like to read journals that focus heavily on politics, interpersonal drama, mental illness or other mostly negative things. Of course it’s fine to post about things that bother or upset you in your life and I’ll be right there to lend you kind words, I just don’t have the strength to read about it constantly.
